About Us

Villa Doris is situated in Štikovica, a small and peaceful village just 6 kilometers west of Dubrovnik. A beautiful short walk along the coast will get you to Zaton and a 6 kilometers drive will bring you to the famous Old Town of Dubrovnik.  Wander through the City’s rich blend of historic charm and modern energy during the day, escape it then to savor the nature and tranquility of the village evenings. 

Crystal clear seawater and the village pebble beach have always been attracting both locals and tourists. Villa Doris is only two minutes walk from the beach and local restaurants. The Villa offers well equipped rooms and apartments with private entrances. Big shared terrace is overlooking the bay and the quiet street, while smaller ones are surrounded by Mediterranean fruit trees and flowers. Natural shade is much appreciated during warm summer days.

Here are some information you might find useful!
Breakfast is served, on request, on the ground floor of the Villa. For lunch or dinner we recommend trying one of the local restaurants, three of them are located up to ten minutes walking distance. The grocery store is half an hour walk from us. A lot of guests enjoy the walk but having a car can be an advantage during the summer heat.

 

Arriving to Villa Doris from the airport is best done by hiring Taxy, their service is good and one can easily be found at the airport.  For guests arriving by their own cars Villa Doris parking is free of charge. Dubrovnik is a world heritage site, a city museum. Beautiful monuments and rich history of this former maritime republic are worth discovering.  A walking tour with a licensed guide can be arranged for you as well as some other excursions depending on your interests. Boat excursions to neighboring islands, sea kayaking, diving…These are some of the activities popular in the area.  We are looking forward to seeing you and being your hosts!
